Mount Dora Craft Fair 34th Annual
Beautiful Mount Dora is where many Orlandoans go for a special day out. So when you and your family are looking to do something a little out of the ordinary to do, Mount Dora is a wonderful alternative to the commotion of our world-class theme parks. For two days each autumn, the area hosts a craft fair that is second to none in charm and artistry.
Throughout this quaint and historic town, the streets come alive with more than 400 talented crafters and artists from all over the country displaying and selling their finest works. The Mount Dora Craft Fair is an eclectic mix of arts and crafts—from sculptures to ceramics to paintings to woodworking—offering unique gifts and souvenirs. Plus, live entertainment, food stands and more than enough restaurants to satisfy even the most finicky eaters. In the "spirit" of everything "craft" (puns intended), you'll experience a few of Florida's finest breweries and distilleries. Sample and purchase products as well as hand-crafted rum, whiskey and beer. Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, 28, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Old Town Friday Muscle Car Cruise 7th Anniversary Event
If classic heavy metal power machines rev your engine, every Friday night—especially Friday the 9th of November—will electrify you! Old Town, located very near your luxury vacation villa or condo, is celebrating seven years of the Friday Nite Muscle Car Show & Cruise at Old Town. You and your family can join the fun and celebrate show-quality American-made muscle cars from 1964 and newer as well as American classics from 1988 and older. Cars will be on display in the early evening and then line up for a very special Anniversary Cruise down Old Town's Main Street beginning at 8:30 PM. Friday, November 9.

Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, October 14 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa
We've told you about the phenomenal Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando...but how far are you willing to go for a big and extremely fun scare? Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens in Tampa offers a series of truly terrifying experiences and events for adults to enjoy. I say adults because, like HHN, H-O-S can be too intense for the younger crowd. If you dare to roam the creepiest haunted houses, get stalked by hordes of roaming monsters, be endlessly entertained by dancing fiends, and enjoy the extra level of thrill that comes with riding the coasters after dark, this scare fest is for you! I know because I've been and was terrified in the most awesome and memorable way. Select dates, Now through October 28. Admission to Howl-O-Scream is separately ticketed.
