Top Things to do at Disney Springs

They say it’s "Your dessert-first, gotta-have-it, quality-time place to be" and I’m going to have to agree. I’ve witnessed Disney Springs evolve over the years and it really has become a world within itself. Let’s begin with activities...
Take a spin on this charming Venetian carousel in the heart of Disney Springs Marketplace. Little ones and the young at heart can enjoy an old-fashioned carousel ride atop any of 16 handcrafted horses.
Choose from steeds that jump or rock, or take a more sedate ride in a handsome carriage. Hundreds of miniature light bulbs, hand-painted murals and a spinning teacup add a touch of Disney-style whimsy to this delightful ride.
Total Immersion in the Star Wars Universe
Be transported with family and friends to a galaxy far, far away on the hyper-reality adventure, Star Wars™: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID.
Surrounded by cutting-edge 3D imagery and sound, you can move around freely while virtually interacting with popular Star Wars characters—as well as each other—in a multi-sensory environment that combines groundbreaking technology, virtual reality and the magic of illusion.
Note: You have to sign a waiver before going in.
Disney Springs' Aerophile Balloon Ride
Aerophile is a helium balloon that takes you 400 feet in the air for a one-of-a-kind view. Take a break from the crowds below and enjoy a relaxing breath of fresh air.
Vintage Amphicar and Italian Water Taxi Tours
If you’re looking for something tame, have a spot of lunch at The BOATHOUSE then embark on a cruise to see the sights from the water aboard an Amphicar or Italian water taxi.
Speaking of lunch, there are plenty of places to eat around Disney Springs where you can find something for everyone in your party, even the pickiest eaters.
Stop at this kiosk for a quick meal and, whether you are looking for a sweet or savory crepe or, a bubble waffle (worth the stop), you’ll enjoy delicious food and be on your way.
B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.
Do you like dogs? Me too. Both the 4-legged and the smothered-in-mustard-and-sauerkraut variety. Like pretty much everything else on earth, hot dogs have now gone artisan and this little kiosk serves them up with a clever array of toppings. Fun for everyone!
Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies
I’m adding this in not for the love of smoothies but the fact that they serve coffee with awesome depictions of Mickey and Minnie on their latte’s. I love it! Photograph it before you sip, and hang it as art when you get home. Easy and gorgeous Disney memorabilia.
Retreat to this chic hideaway for an ultra-modern steakhouse experience—featuring an innovative menu, in-house DJ and a stunning outdoor patio. For nights to celebrate life and laughter with your loved ones.
Too numerous to mention are the retail stores and unique boutiques (about 107) located at Disney Springs, but I can assure you, from Anthropologie to Zara, the area offers an A to Z in excellent shopping. Shops are open until 11 p.m. so you don’t have to lug your treasures around all day. Whether it’s a memento from your day out or a gift for someone back home, you’ll find it here.
