New Orlando Attractions in 2020

Our local world-class theme parks are always keeping it fresh by adding new attractions and events. 2020 is no different. Whether you and your family frequent the parks or you are newbies (where have you been?), here are 5 new adventures coming to Orlando area theme parks this year.

The Bourne Stuntacular at Universal Studios Florida

This all-new live-action stunt show is set to open this spring. It will follow the lead character, Jason Bourne, across several continents as he runs for his life from sinister characters. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, this new action-packed show will feature thrilling chase scenes, death-defying leaps, and raw fistfights. This will be an entirely new form of entertainment and not to be missed!

Icebreaker at SeaWorld Orlando

Named after the icy Arctic summits, Ice Breaker will be SeaWorld’s first launched roller coaster and will feature 4 airtime-filled launches that will take you backwards and forwards with speeds reaching 52 miles per hour during a 90-second whirlwind adventure. Expect an exhilarating 100-degree angled section of track where you’ll travel up backwards and then fall back down forwards. And that’s just the start! Opens this spring.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot

This new ride is opening in the summer at Epcot’s France pavilion. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will allow you and your little ratlets to shrink down in size and scurry to safety across the kitchen of Gusteau’s restaurant. Also coming to the pavilion in 2020 is a Beauty of the Beast sing-along show as well as a new La Crêperie de Paris restaurant. Viva la France!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Mickey Mouse and his pals set off on a zany adventure this spring! Enter the newly refurbished Chinese Theater, board a special train (with who else but Goofy as conductor), and get dropped into a cartoon world based on the award-winning Mickey Mouse shorts. This will be Mickey’s first ride-through attraction and will feature an original song. The kids are guaranteed to love it…as much as the adults.

Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

This incredible new thrill ride, opening this spring, will boast speeds of up to 76 miles per hour and a 91-degree drop, breaking two world records for hybrid coasters. Constructed using some of the existing wooden supports from the original Gwazi coaster that closed a few years ago, Iron Gwazi will feature an entirely new layout and a steel track, for a smoother, more exhilarating ride!

After a day of electrifying rides and fun new adventures in beautiful Central Florida, head home to your luxury vacation villa. Relax, rest, and ask the family what excitement do they want to experience tomorrow.
