Some entertainment venues in Central Florida have restrictions in place to avoid mass gatherings. While there is still a lot to do in the Orlando area, please follow the guidelines given by the World Health Organization for dos and don’ts.
What to do before booking:
- Review local travel recommendations and restrictions in addition to following guidance from the World Health Organization.
- Review the Florida Vacation Homes cancellation policies.
- Consider purchasing travel insurance and review the policy coverage details to see how it relates to COVID-19.
What to do after booking:
- Visit Orlando.gov/COVID-19 for information and updates relating to the Orlando area.
Travel Restrictions for International Travelers:
Are you an international traveler? Effective as of January 26th, 2021, travelers arriving in the US need to get tested for COVID-19 no more than 3 days before departing and show a negative test result to your airline before boarding, or, show documentation of recent recovery. Acceptable documentation includes both a test result and a letter from a healthcare provider or public health official stating you are cleared to end isolation. This order applies to all travelers, citizens, and non-citizens over 2 years of age.
Travel Restrictions on Domestic Flights:
There are no domestic travel restrictions in place by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), but cautionary guidelines have been issued.
Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations within 48 hours of making the reservation. After 48 hours the cancellation below applies. All cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following penalty percentages of the total rental fee:
- 20% from the initial date of booking up to 30 days prior to the arrival date (the rental deposit is non-refundable, after 48 hours).
- 50% if less than 30 days prior to the arrival date.
- 100% if less than 15 days prior to the arrival date.

Windsor Hills

Community activities are open. Pool hours are from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM. The fitness center is open 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM. (Bring your own towel.) Courts & Park Hours are 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM. The Market Place is open 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, and the Grill is open 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM. The Welcome Center & Cyber Cafe is open 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM with Guest Services & Vacation/Tourist Recommendations being open Wednesday-Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Solana Resort

At Solana Resort, the Clubhouse, Tiki Bar, Exercise Room, Pool Area, Hot Tub, Play Area, and Mini Golf will open May 28th with CDC guidance restrictions in place.
Storey Lake

The Hideaway Club at Storey Lake is now open with limited capacity and social distancing in place.
Emerald Island

The Clubhouse and Gym are open at Emerald Island Resort under CDC guidelines. The pool will be closed for another 2 weeks and should reopen around June 4.
Solara Resort
May 20, 2020,
The pool will be open at Solara Resort effective May 21st from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please follow the resort guidelines for social distancing.
Reunion Resort
June 9, 2020,
In Reunion Resort all community pools are open from 8 am to 11 pm daily. The Water Park is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Beverage service will be offered 10:30 am to 5 pm daily and an outdoor grill will be open 11 am to 3 pm. One golf course will remain open for play Sunday through Thursday and two golf courses will be open Friday and Saturday. The Clubhouse is open Sun-Thurs 7 am to 8 pm, Fri & Sat 7 am to 9 pm. The Grande Lobby Bar is open Wed-Sun from 4 pm to 8 pm. The Cove Bar & Grill is open on the weekends from 10 am to 5 pm with hours subject to change weekly. Giftshop/Starbucks is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. The Tennis Centre is open Mon-Frid. Traditions, Eleven, the game room, and the Spa are closed until further notice.
Solterra Resort
June 23, 2020,
The main pool is open from 9am – 6pm daily. The slide & lazy river are open daily from 10am – 4pm. The maximum capacity on the pool deck is 115. The fitness center is open from 9am – 6pm with social distancing measures in place. The cafe will reopen on the 26th with deck service. Opening hours are: Friday 6/26 from 11am-4pm, Saturday 6/27 10am-4pm, & Sunday 6/28 from 10am-4pm. It will be closed Monday 6/29-Wed 7/1 and reopen Thursday 7/2 and remain open for the 4th of July weekend from 10am – 4pm.

At Solterra Resort the Pool & Fitness Center are open at 50% capacity. Tennis Courts, slide, and Lazy River are open. Pool hours are 9-5, and slide and lazy river 10-4 to be extended in the coming weeks. Café remains closed at this time, reopening soon.
