November Events in Orlando
November is a beautiful month in Central Florida. Finally, the temperatures have dipped to very pleasant days with some cool evenings as well. It also marks (on the last day of the month) the end of hurricane season, so we are all breathing easier and feeling happier. Pumpkin patches and fall decorations are everywhere, fresh Christmas trees are for sale city-wide and there are plenty of wonderful events taking place, making the Orlando area look and feel cozy and festive. Old Town Kissimmee
Old Town Kissimmee is fun at any time of the year, but their annual Holidays at Old Town event lets you watch the holidays come to life. Experience a spectacular display of festive decorations including their traditional sparkling Christmas tree. And each weekend, it snows! Florida-style, of course. Plus, on Friday and Saturday nights join the car show and cruise and enjoy iconic all-American classics sure to impress the car enthusiasts in your family. Festival of Trees
One of the most popular and cherished events of the year is this 10-day festival where the Orlando Museum of Art transforms into a glittering wonderland of Christmas spirit. Enjoy gorgeously decorated trees, vignettes and stunning décor, from traditional to elaborate, all available for sale.
This premier annual event is in its 33rd year and is a magical winter wonderland for the kids, a fantastic display of design and creativity for adults, and makes for a great day of photographs and family memories. So Many Fun Things to Do in November
Catch a hockey game (Orlando Solar Bears) or a NBA game (Go MAGIC!), eat, drink and dance your way around Epcot at the International Food & Wine Festival that continues through November 24, watch a production of Macbeth at The Orlando Shakespeare Theater near downtown, take the little ones to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which starts on November 8, and runs through December 22.
The Holidays at Universal Orlando event begins on November 16 and runs right through until January 5, 2020. It welcomes one and all to an enormous holiday celebration, where you will enjoy a magical holiday experience at Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Plus, take in Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, and the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, which is a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic holiday tale. Free with park admission.
