November Musical Events in Orlando

06-29-2020

It’s astonishing how may musical events take place in November in and around beautiful Orlando. It shouldn’t be, however, because November is when the temperature drops (especially at night) and locals really start outdoor living for the next 6 months. O-town is a musical city and we love getting to be out in nature listening to everything from opera and classical to hip-hop, country, rock and pop. Here are a few spots to get your groove on this November.

Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

The ever-popular Eat To The Beat Concert Series continues at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival (IF&WF) through the 19th of November. Here is the list of musical artists you can see live during the last month: Kris Allen, Boyz II Men, The Hooters, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Joey Fatone and Friends – featuring Chris Kirkpatrick and Ryan Cabrera, BBMak, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and closing out the final day of concerts, D’Capella. This year was the longest-running IF&WF and it goes long and strong right through to the end.

Praise Wave Music Festival at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando’s Christian music event, Praise Wave, returns! Enjoy live musical performances by some of the biggest names in Christian music and celebrate in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship as well as fun rides and animal attractions. This uplifting live concert event series takes place in SeaWorld’s Nautilus Theater on Saturdays starting November 2 – November 16. The event is included in park admission.

The Amway Center

Located in the beautiful heart of downtown Orlando, The Amway Center is home to our NBA team, Orlando Magic. It’s literally where the Magic happens, and it’s where the Music happens as well! Concerts here are phenomenal with great seating. A few of the artists playing the venue in November include The Black Keys with Modest Mouse on November 6, Casting Crowns and Hillsong Worship on the 11th, The Jonas Brothers on the 16th, Sara Bareilles with her guest Emily King on the 24th and Ariana Grande on the 25th. If you are in town during this time, your young ones will be very “thankful at Thanksgiving” when you present them with tickets to see Ariana’s combination Sweetner and Thank U, Next tour. Don’t forget to bring your cat ears!

Electric Daisy Carnival

If you already know what this event is you’re probably a fan and you’re in luck! The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is happening in Orlando on the weekend of Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10 at Tinker Field in downtown Orlando. This colorful festival features Art— a world of 3-dimensional superstructures, glow-in-the-dark environments, and art installations scattered throughout the grounds. Rides, because it is, after all, a carnival. Performers—The way kids dress these days, I doubt you could tell the performers from the attendees. And the backbone of the carnival is, of course, electronic dance music. No drinking if you’re under 21 and I would not recommend this event for anyone under 18.
