Ventura Country Club

Ventura is Country Club is easy to find, southwest of where FL-551 meets FL-552. It boasts three different tees, making it welcoming to various skill levels. Besides this, Ventura makes fabulous use of the landscape in its design. Blending with Florida habitats, the wetlands and canals are worked into the course, infusing the game with the feeling of Florida that will stick in your mind when you think back on your trip. Plus, this means wildlife commonly show up on the course, keeping the game interesting day after day.

Orange Tree Golf Club

The Orange Tree Golf Club asserts they are “focused on providing a great environment for all levels of players,” and they commit to it with amenities such as their golf shop and golf camps. The tees are welcoming to all abilities, and the eighteen holes stretch from 5,183 yards to 7,036 depending on which you choose. The staff’s love for the game is evident in their love for their course, as it is kept in beautiful condition. You’ll find the course on Woodgreen Drive off of Dr. Phillips Blvd, west of the I-4.

Grande Vista Golf Club

For a shorter game that leaves your schedule open for other activities, try out the 9-hole, par 32 course at Grande Vista. It features 2,300 yards of green between pines, oaks, and cypresses standing tall to border the course. It was designed with the growth of new players in mind, making it great to take family—their “Kids Golf-4-Free” program allows one junior (fifteen years and younger) to play for free after 3 PM when accompanying an adult. Grande Vista is south of Central Florida Parkway, not far from Sea World Orlando.

Dubsdread Golf Course

This course has served generations of golfers since its opening in 1924, and remains popular thanks to its excellent service and lovely views. The restaurant is just as popular (maybe more so!) than the course and attracts plenty of non-golfers.
