Christmas Events at Walt Disney World®

07-01-2020

Christmastime at the Happiest Place on Earth is not limited to the annual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the very magical Magic Kingdom. The other parks: Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom also have wonderful holiday festivities going on to entertain you and your loved ones during your Yuletide celebrations here in beautiful Central Florida.

Epcot

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays (EIFotH) is a treat-centric event brimming with food, music, and entertainment. The highlight is the heartwarming Candlelight Processional that takes place 3 times each night and features sweeping holiday music with a 50-piece orchestra, a full choir and a lineup of celebrity narrators including Isabella Rossellini, Neil Patrick Harris, Edward James Olmos. Enjoy a delectable array of food, drinks and unique treats at 13 Holiday Kitchens plus additional food-and-beverage kiosks around the world. Sugar-coat your gastronomical experience with the Holiday Cookie Stroll, showcasing unique cookies at five locations in the park’s World Showcase.

The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays will also include uplifting gospel, R&B, and traditional holiday tunes during JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. Plus, kids can enjoy a scavenger hunt with Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree. The EIFotH event is included with park admission from November 29 – December 30.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers multiple ways to celebrate the holidays including holiday decor at Toy Story Land. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! holiday spectacular combines music and fireworks to surround you and your loved ones with popular scenes from Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, and other favorites. Watch the stars of ABC’s Prep & Landing as they rescue Santa and save Christmas. The Hollywood Tower Hotel features a dazzling laser projection show and falling “snow” (again, we Floridians love our “snow”) as part of Sunset Seasons Greetings. You can also watch Olaf deliver a special holiday finale in For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along. It’s yuletide fun for the entire family! These holiday events are all included with admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and run from November 8 – January 5, 2020.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

This is the park’s first-ever holiday celebration and its festivities include a whimsical winter wonderland at Discovery Island, India’s Diwali (festival of lights) Donald’s Dino-Bash and Chip ‘n Dale’s Holiday Hoopla Dance, and a delightful presentation at the village of Harambe. Even Pandora-The World of Avatar gets into the holiday spirit with a combination of handcrafted items and holiday decor at Pongu Pongu. Your little ones can also pose for holiday photos with some of your favorite Disney Characters at locations throughout the park. Stay for Tree of Life Awakenings, featuring a new series of wintry tales complemented by music full of holiday cheer. This celebration is included in admission to the park and runs from November 8 – January 5, 2020.
